After observing Martin Parr’s work and looking through several photographs I have come to really admire him as a photographer. The aspects I find most useful is how his work shows such casual scenes of people just going about their day in a suburban beach town in Europe. He takes his photos in an effortless manner that is so pleasing to the eye. In my future work I am inspired to take a step back and really look at what’s right in front of me because everyday life can be a beautiful piece of art as well.

Hi Kylie! I really liked your presentation on Martin Parr. His work is so unique and I loved learning about it. I really liked the photos you selected and I think you did a great job describing them. I like how Martin captures images that are things that the average person has seen before, like seagulls on a beach, but yet makes the image look so cool and different. I like his images because they are so raw and really makes the person who is looking at them feel something.
Kylie,
Your presentation was well done! You described Martin and his photography style very well and after finishing the presentation, I wasn't left with any questions! Martins work has a very distinct look and all of the photographs you showed were very lighthearted and extremely colorful and vibrant. He captures moments that happen in day to day life, which is a bit different for photographers.
Great work!

Hi Kylie!! I really enjoyed your presentation on Martin Parr's photographic work! You covered all of the important concepts regarding his work as well as his personal background. These photos were extremely interesting and very thought provoking when looking at them. He used a variety of different techniques which allowed for his photos to be so real, raw, and powerful. The way that you interpreted the photos and explained them was very in depth and helped for a viewer to grasp the concepts of his picture!
Fantastic presentation Kylie! You did a great job of including his background but not going into too much detail. I really enjoyed how you put the titles as an overlay. I also liked how you described what intrigued you about the photos. Personally, I enjoyed how real and raw these photos felt. I could imagine myself in many of these images. I also like how the photographer highlights the vibrant colors, which adds to the fact that the photos feel very "real". This technique is very interesting, as the original integrity of the photo is maintained but it does not seem dull.
Hi Kylie, I would first like start off with how your video is organized and it properly goes through the photographers photo's and the way you did the transitions between each one was very cool. Also Martin Parr's work, the way you presented seems amazing, and the images you provided really does show that "Coast" like style going based off his work. And your interpretation of the photos were very unique when explained in a simple way. Although, towards the middle-end of the video there wasn't really any audio so I couldn't hear what your thought and interpretations were on the rest of the photo's. Also I didn't get to know the names of them but visually looking at each…
