COURSE GOALS
In this course I hope to expand my knowledge on digital photography.
My goals:
1. Gain a good eye for photography and take really unique and creative photographs.
2. Use the knowledge I gain in this course in my future career of a merchandise planner working on e-commerce.
3. Maintain a good grade and schedule with my assignments as this course is asynchronous and I have to pace myself and turn work in on time and done well.

Aesthetically Evaluative

Descriptive

My photograph is aesthetically evaluative because it catches the beauty of the flowers as well as the bright colors which draws in the eye.
My photograph is descriptive because it shows the intricate details of the towel and highlights the dog in the middle subtley.

Interpretive

Ethically Evaluative
My photograph is interpretive because it allows the viewer to look at the image and decide what they see it as.
My photograph is ethically evaluative because it shows a mother's struggle of taking care of her children alone and the emotion associated with it.
Explanatory

My photograph is explanatory because it shows how the light projects onto the wall and lights up the room from the source.
Theoretical

My photograph is theoretical because it portrays books attached to a camera highlighting the world of photography and how it's more than a single camera.

Course Goals & Achievements
Overall this semester I believe I became a better photographer and really learned a lot. Since this was an asynchronous course I really pushed myself to get my assignments done ahead of time while also putting a lot of work into them. I think learning about different perspectives from different photographers really broadened my knowledge on digital photography and gave me a great look into how I can use this in my future career. I intend on being a merchandise planner and I know digital photography is only going to become more in demand due to the increase in e-commerce shopping. In conclusion, I had a lot of fun throughout this course and truly believe I achieved the goals I set in the beginning of the semester.
